Version 1.1 replaces versions 1.0 and 1.0.1. All users are encouraged to use the new version.
What's New Since 1.0.1:
-New "Quit After Playing" preference (especially useful for playing movies via systems like HyperCard or Mosaic when combined with the "Play Immediately" preference).
-A progress bar is now displayed while loading large movies into RAM.
-Tall movies can now take up the entire height of the screen when the menu bar has been hidden.
-Now issues a warning when movies with soundtracks are opened when the "Play Every Frame" preference is on.
-New preferences allow users to suppress "Not enough RAM to load movie" and "Soundtrack will be skipped" warnings.
-Movies with only sound and/or music tracks can now be heard regardless of the setting of the "Play Every Frame" preference.
-Clicking in the menu bar area when the menu bar is hidden and the open movie extends into the menu bar area now works correctly.
-New U.S. mail address in the credits dialog and documentation.

Peter's Player is heavily optimized to give you the best possible playback of QuickTime movies:
-It is "Accelerated For Power Macintosh," running at maximum possible speed on either 68k or Power Macintoshes.
-If there is enough RAM, it will load the entire movie before playing it, for the fastest-possible playback.
-It can detect the best dit depth to display a movie at and set your monitor appropriately, which yields smoother playback and better-looking movies.
-It can play movies without showing the standard movie controller, which can be distracting, and slows down playback.
-It supports keyboard shortcuts with the controller showing or hidden (the arrow keys step forward and back frames, the space bar plays or pauses, etc...).
